4th of July was a good mail day...

...for outgoing mail, I mean! This is all the mail from yesterday that is about to head off to the post office right now. Yay mail!

If you look closely, you'll see a glimpse of one of my NEW POSTCARD DESIGNS (can you tell I am excited?) that will debut in my etsy shop either later today or tomorrow.

Star Wars postcard carries random info

I sent this fine Star Wars postcard for a Swap-Bot swap last month. The postcard comes from The Art of Star Wars Comics: 100 Collectible Postcards set from Chronicle Books.



This particular swap was for "random info about oneself," so I wrote about my particular aversion to jewelry. It's a tactile-sensitive thing.

Now you're an engineer

The postcard caption reads:
McCoy: I am a doctor, not an engineer.
Scotty: Now you're an engineer.

Following up on my previous Star Trek stationery posts, here's another lovely from the Star Trek Postcard Box by Chronicle Books.



I went with a retro theme and used a Star Wars stamp on the Star Trek postcard. It was more postage than necessary, but how could I resist?

Star wars, gel pens and glitter, oh my!

This has a marvelous vintage Miss Piggy card inside, which I forgot to photograph before I sealed the envelope. I used the sparkly green gel pen on the envelope because something about the paper coating made it sadly impossible for fountain pen ink to behave there. So, a chance to use the oft-neglected metallic gel pens.
