I wonder if it's because there isn't "blog" or "letter" in your blog name. I googled "letter writing blog" and those that came up had at least one of those words.

I'm not sure if google was hiccuping when you tried, but you're on the first search page.

HA! Oddly enough, it was the post you just wrote about getting to show up on a search that made you "ping" on google.
ReplyDeleteI guess the best thing would be to add those 3 words into your opening paragraph as a whole sentence. You have all three, but just having the three words within your whole website won't get you as many search hits as it would if they were all together in a sentence.

I just googled "letter writing blog" and The Missive Maven was the 4th letter writing blog on the first page of search results. Whatever you're doing, it does work. Happy New Year!
