A letter-writing blog extolling the virtues of snail mail:
old-fashioned postal paper mail and all of its varied accessories.
I'm looking at Mr. Poe and thinking the USPS ought to make Gorey stamps!
I love Edward Gorey. These are great. I would really like to visit the Edward Gorey House in MA sometime, but it's a little too far for a quick trip.
Felicity - I couldn't agree more!!Christine - I DO live close enough for a quick trip, and yet I've never been to the Edward Gorey house. I really do need to make that a summertime goal!
Love the Edward Gorey cards! Makes me think of the opening credits of Masterpiece Mystery which had an animated Edward Gorey intro complete with screams!negirl
I almost went there this past summer, but public transit made it too much of a hassle to get there from Boston. You'll have to let us know how it is!
Those are beautiful !Glad my card arrived, even if the postal services was a bit slow ;)
These are just wonderful! And handmade!!!
Those are pretty cool.I've heard of your blog for a while but just started checking it out. I tend to use a typewriter for many letters but enjoy hand-writing them, too. I'm glad there are so many people around who are keeping the art of letter writing alive. Great blog.
