This is one of my favorite envelopes I've made. Not sure why, I think I just love the old-school space-style illustration. Here we have two of the other recent Zazzle photo stamps I've ordered: Soda guarding a Curb your Dog postcard, and Magic yawning on a porch. Had to throw in a Skylab space stamp to complete the theme.

Mmm... starry.

this is my favorite envelope of yours! black and white just seem very postal to me; and the little air mail label completes the deliciousness of it all. :] i love the new cat stamps, they are so adorable as always. <3 <3 thank you for putting up my little tree doodle recently, that was really neat to see! :]

Thanks, L! I just linked your blog from that post, since you don't mind taking public credit for your lovely artwork. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this envie so cute and ubber creative .
ReplyDeleteI love it, too! Get that in your mailbox and start daydreaming about exploring space for twenty minutes or so... and THEN you get to sit down with a letter. Lots of happiness in that envelope.
ReplyDeleteyes, this envelope is wonderful, love the contrast of the black and white - all the colorful stamps used just POP against the envelope!
ReplyDeleteBTW: where did you find your envelope pattern? it doesn't look like the one I use from the "Good Mail Day" book...just wondering =-)
Creative Beast, I use envelope templates from PaperSource. I blogged about them here.
ReplyDeleteDid you DRAW all that? Incredible! I got paper source templates after reading your post. can't wait to use them.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Sue - good gravy - I drew NOTHING! I can be creative with stickers and stamps and decoration and such, but I am horrible at drawing, alas.
ReplyDeleteI am relieved. I shall restore my glue stick to it's prestigious pedestal.
ReplyDeleteI play with drawing, but it is awful. My daughter and I had a blast making envacordions (sp?). Thanks for that post!
I'm enjoying your blog. Thanks!
Cheers!
