Welcome to my celebration of snail mail, this letter-writing blog: photos and thoughts on letters written and received, favorite stationery, fountain pens -- all the accoutrements of the old-fashioned letter in your mailbox. There are no ads, but I do plug my favorite stationery, and provide links to where to find it, because people often ask me and it's easiest to point them here. So read about letters for a bit, email me or snail-mail me with questions or comments, and then GO WRITE A LETTER!

From a favorite correspondent in the Netherlands, a bright yellow envelope with pretty deco tape. You can see her pretty fountain pen handwriting here, too.
Gorgeous! I remember using fountain pens in grade school. In my Wednesday postcard post I have featured an old postcard sent by my pen pal in Austria when I was a kid. You might enjoy the story, and one of the comments it generated caused me to include a link to your blog in my response!
Thank You!
