Welcome to my celebration of snail mail, this letter-writing blog: photos and thoughts on letters written and received, favorite stationery, fountain pens -- all the accoutrements of the old-fashioned letter in your mailbox. There are no ads, but I do plug my favorite stationery, and provide links to where to find it, because people often ask me and it's easiest to point them here. So read about letters for a bit, email me or snail-mail me with questions or comments, and then GO WRITE A LETTER!

Aaron - I know there are white pens out there but I don't own any. Above is a silver metallic gel pen. That one may have been a Sakura Gelly Roll, I'm not sure. I use metallic gel pens a lot on dark papers.
I feel a little bit evil every time I cut up a children's book :D I thought to ask you a few days ago - if you happen to know if there is a specific collective noun for a collection of letters? :)
Here it is over a month after you sent this adorable envelope and note and I'm finally writing back. I love that the kitties have their very own menorah :-)
What kind of pen do you use to write in white? I'm looking for a good one... Thanks! :) -Aaron (new reader of your blog)

ReplyDeleteA collective noun for a collection of letters... Hmmm... Nothing comes to mind, but I'll stew on it...
