The Sociable Thief

Shag: The Sociable Thief

I promised more Shag postcards, so here we go. This one's called "The Sociable Thief." Love the dog. I found the colors very autumnal.

The set is from Chronicle Books, of course.

  1. She reminds me of the woman in the esurance commercials. Do they still run those? I very rarely watch TV...

  2. I wouldn't be the person to be able to say whether any commercial is still on - we don't even own a TV.

  3. I think you are thinking of Kim possible she is actually from disney and esurance borrowed her as their spokesperson . I love the dog too .

  5. Nope, no Halloween here :( However, there are some decorations in shops at the moment, I guess they're hopeful that it might catch on and they'll make more sales. I think it sounds really fun. I'd love to go to the US just for Halloween :) When I was a kid some friends and I tried to go trick or treating but none of the houses we stopped at were prepared and we came home with homebrand muesli bars and bottles of juice!
I wish it was Autumn here. Spring weather in Australia isn't always pleasant, all thunderstorms and sweltering heat! This was a very complain-y comment :)

  6. Bianca, - that is just tragic that you don't have Halloween. I had forgotten, though, that it's not autumn for you...

  7. The lack of Halloween is quite tragic :( And you have things like Thanksgiving, which seem fascinating and totally foreign to me. I don't think we have any fun holidays you don't have, except perhaps Australia Day? Haha. Oh, and I just wanted to confirm that you did in fact receive my last letter? I get all worried about the post eating things up. It's one of my worst fears!

  8. Bianca, yes, your last letter was smashing and it is staring at me accusingly, somewhere in the middle of my towering Needs Response pile.
